Blue Spear has developed the Community Active Shooter Survivability Improvement Strategy and Training (Co. A.S.S.I.S.T.©) program, the nations first all encompassing Active Shooter training module.
Blue Spear Solutions®, LLC recognizes the inherent complications and stressors induced upon private and public stakeholders in developing safety measures and procedures to better protect their most valuable assets – their people. Our focal point is to provide stakeholders with sound educational tools, techniques, tactics, and equipment that will reduce unnecessary casualty rates inflicted by violent Active Shooter / Mass killing incidents. Our philosophical approach to increase victim survivability is designed by the premise of educating, training, preparing, and properly executing the task.
Blue Spear Solutions®, LLC selects the highest trained and experienced law enforcement and first responder personnel to serve as Co. A.S.S.I.S.T.© instructors. Our team members consist of active duty Police Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics/EMT, Federal Agents, and Nurses. We find great importance in utilizing instructors who are current practitioners in the first responder and medical field. As a result our clients are always receiving modern training under current industry standards. Each instructor is an educator in Active Shooter awareness /response protocols and are certified to instruct Bleeding Control For The Injured in accordance with National Association of Emergency Technicians (NAEMT). Our team of instructors bring over 150 years of real-world first responder experience and professional instructor credentials into a classroom setting.

The Community Active Shooter Survivability Improvement Strategy Training (Co. A.S.S.I.S.T.©) program is a 4-hour program designed to educate and train private and public sector stakeholders on nationally developed standards for Active Shooter preparedness/ response strategies and train individuals on lifesaving Bleeding Control (B-Con) Techniques.
The Co. A.S.S.I.S.T.© program is the Nation’s first all encompassing Active Shooter Preparedness program designed specifically to meet the recommendations developed by the United States Department of Homeland Security, The Hartford Consensus III, and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).
The Community Active Shooter Survivability Improvement Strategy & Training (Co. A.S.S.I.S.T©) Program is an online self-paced course designed to educate and train civilians on nationally developed response strategies that will increase victim survivability during an Active Shooter Event. Our program incorporates preparedness and response strategies.
The Bleeding Control Techniques – M.A.R.C.H course is an online self-paced course designed to educate and train civilians on nationally developed bleeding control training and skills. Our program incorporates the training and treatment of life threatening bleeding injuries by using the following prioritized sequence of treatment: Massive Hemorrhage, Airway Management, Respiration, Circulation, and Head Injury / Hypothermia - M.A.R.C.H.
